On Saturday 12/07/2025, we had the pleasure of joining fellow clubs at the Worthing Rowing Club Regatta for another exciting stop in the Coast Amateur Rowing Association league calendar. Although racing was called off halfway through the day due to changing conditions, that didn’t stop us from enjoying a brilliant morning of rowing and soaking up the community spirit.
👏 Debut Alert – Kim Webb & Cammy Korkis
A massive congratulations to our Women’s Junior Pair, Kim Webb and Cammy Korkis, who made their regatta debut! The duo delivered an outstanding performance, finishing a very close 4th in a competitive field — an incredible start to what promises to be a strong rowing partnership. We're so proud!

🚣♂️ Junior Men’s Four Represent!
Our Junior Men’s Four — Tom Heskett, John Webb, Jack Relf, Roland Rebek, and cox Paul Heskett — rowed hard in their event, coming 5th in a tough race. A solid result for a developing crew — well rowed, team!

💪 Ready for More
We had 10 more crews rigged and ready to race, and while they didn’t get the chance to show their speed this time, their time will come. We’re proud of the commitment and preparation from every single rower.
🙌 Thank You, Worthing!
Huge thanks to Worthing Rowing Club for hosting another fantastic event and to all the volunteers and supporters who make these days possible. We also want to give a shoutout to Alan Bates and Petra Wilson, who came to the rescue and sorted some last-minute trailer logistics so we could even get there!
Next up: our own home regatta in Hastings, which happened the very next day — keep an eye out for that recap post coming soon 👀
