☀️ Bexhill Regatta – A Perfect End to the Double Weekend! ☀️

After the waves and wild finish at Eastbourne, Bexhill Regatta felt like a gift – calm, mostly flat water, glorious sunshine, and Hastings Rowing Club right at the heart of the action with a prime spot on the beach.

Bexhill Rowing Club put together a fantastic day of racing. Despite a few gusty winds making starts tricky, every event ran like clockwork and the beach was buzzing with excitement.

Our crews made the most of the perfect conditions, coming home with some brilliant results:

🥇 Women’s Junior Scull – Cammy Korkis – securing her championship title!

🥇 Open Masters 50+ – Tim Ash, Alan Bates, Dave Pattle, Paul Knight (Cox: Hannah Dixon) – Alan’s return to the boat brought a storming win. One more victory in Dover will see them crowned champions.

🥇 Open Junior Scull – Roland Rebek – his second win of the weekend, moving him officially into the junior category.

🥈 Open Junior Pair – John Webb & Roland Rebek – already the 2025 champions, they raced hard for silver.

🥈 Open Masters 40+ – Tim Ash, John Webb, Dave Pattle, Paul Knight (Cox: Hannah Dixon)

🥉 Open Junior Fours – Thomas Heskett, John Webb, Jack Relf, Roland Rebek (Cox: Holly Cavill) – a determined crew earning a podium finish.

8th, Women’s Junior 4 – Victoria Clarke, Kim Webb, Charlotte Ashcroft & Claire Lucent (Cox: Alan Carter) – soaking up valuable race experience.
